Naomi Osaka (大坂 なおみ, Ōsaka Naomi), née le 16 octobre 1997 à Osaka, est une joueuse de tennis japonaise, professionnelle depuis 2012. De mère japonaise et de père haïtien, elle vit aux États-Unis depuis l âge de trois ans et possède, en plus de la nationalité japonaise, la nationalité américaine qu’elle abandonne en octobre 2019 comme l’y oblige la loi japonaise qui refuse la double nationalité au-delà de l’âge de 22 ans. Elle accède à la renommée mondiale et atteint la première place du classement WTA à la suite de sa victoire à Melbourne. Hommes et femmes confondus, elle est la première japonaise à remporter un tournoi du Grand Chelem et à occuper la tête du classement mondial. Naomi Osaka remporte par la suite un deuxième US Open en 2020, et un deuxième Open d Australie en 2021. Depuis 2018, elle a remporté quatre titres du Grand Chelem en autant de finales disputées.
